Hi all,

after installing new tape drivers (atldd 2.5.1.0 and Atape.driver 2.5.2.1),
I get the following error:

mtlib -l /dev/lmcp0 -qM :
mtlib: Unable to open Library /dev/lmcp0: No such device or address

lsdev -Cc tape :
lmcp0 Available LAN/TTY Library Management Control Point
rmt0 Available 00-02-01-0,0 IBM 3590 Tape Drive and Medium Changer
rmt1 Available 00-02-01-1,0 IBM 3590 Tape Drive and Medium Changer
rmt2 Available 00-07-01-0,0 IBM 3590 Tape Drive and Medium Changer
rmt3 Available 00-07-01-1,0 IBM 3590 Tape Drive and Medium Changer

After reinstall the old versions (atldd 2.4.1.0 and Atape 2.4.4.0)
the same way (as mentioned in the README file) as I did with the new versions,
I have no problems (at least for the moment, I need this new drivers
because of problems with lmcpd which I mentioned some days ago on
this list).

Any suggestion is welcome.

(running ADSM V2.1.0.3 on a SP2 (AIX 4.1.4.0) using 3494 with 3590 units).

Regards,
