I posted an append asking what various companies were doing for
bootable recovery with Solaris.  I got several responses and they
all were similar to Karl's option 2...that is, boot from the
install CD to have a minimal operating system...then do a partial
system restore using UFSDUMP/UFSRESTORE...then use adsm to restore
the rest...hope this helps...greg tevis
