I had a similar problem with out lan server (around 300.000 files) a=
nd unix
systems (around 60.000 files each) all backuped with one ADSM/MVS se=
rver.
Database searches lasts very long. So I decided to split the ADSM se=
rver
into four different servers to make the databases smaller (total dat=
abase
space is equal) und so increase the performance during restores (spe=
cially
     for restore -inactive ...).
Perhaps you can manage it in the same way.
