Hi folks,
   we've been running ADSM V1R2 together with the PCTA/6000 V1R1 under AIX =
3.2.5
until April this year. The 3480-tapes on the 3490 controller ( shared with =
an
aging IBM 3090-600J ) are used to hold backup's of special nodes (no user-d=
ata)=20
In April we moved onto AIX 4.1.4 and discovered too late, that the PCTA/600=
0
wasn't available for AIX 4.1.4. Checking the availability we heard somethin=
g=20
like 2Q96, but recent information indicates, that there won't be a=20
PCTA/6000 for AIX 4.
Q1: Is my information "No PCTA/6000 for AIX 4" true ?
Q2: Has anyone out there experienced the same problem ?
Q3: If so, what is Your approach to tackle the problem,=20
    e.g. stay on AIX 3.2.5 forever ?
