We have not announced plans for an adsm client on as/400...however, there
is work going on with this.  It looks like this will come in 2 parts...
1. the adsm api will be ported to as/400   2. other applications will
write a front end for  as/400 and use the adsm/400 api to backup to an
adsm server.

I can't give any dates or much more information...but work is beginning
for both parts 1 and 2.    If you have a favorite as/400 backup vendor...
you may want to encourage them now to exploit the adsm/400 api when it
becomes available...this is going to open up a whole new world for as/400
backups and it will make those backup products much more powerful by
integrating in with adsm....greg tevis
