Hello,
I have some questions about the compression option. We are running ADSM v2
on MVS and using IBM 3490E C22 tape driver system (which supports
compression at hardware level). The primary nodes are Netware 3.12 and AIX
servers.

How ADSM handles the compression issues when compression option on node side
is set to ON?
Is that mean the data gets compressed tow times, one by ADSM and also by IBM
3490E?
