This is the exact symptom you will see when running ADSM on an Macintosh
running Open Transport 1.1.  Usually you can start one session,
but if that session ever gets closed (change password, canceling a restore,
etc), then ADSM will not be able to start another session successfully.
You can close the ADSM application and re-launch it - this will allow
you to connect again.

Until Apple releases a patch to OT, you should run with MacTCP (called
"Classic Networking" on System 7.5.3)
