Have you looked at FDDI or ATM ?? I think many of the newer RS/6000's
support ATM (155 Mb/sec)... I've been told that TCP/IP over ATM is pretty
straightforward (we'll be looking at that later this year). I don't think
High speed Ethernet (100 Mb/sec) is an option because it's not supported on
the RS/6000 last time I checked..

I'm looking for a faster way to connect my ADSM server (RS/6000 C20) to
my ADSM client (RS/6000 J30). The current communication path is a 16Mb/s
token ring LAN (TCP/IP). Both boxes are running AIX V4.1.3 and my ADSM
is V2.

Any suggestions on how to connect two RS/6000s in a way that exceeds
16Mb/s and successfully run ADSM client/server between them? Thanks.
