To keep all of your backup copies for a specified period (xx),
you should specify 'VERExists=NOLimit', 'VERDeleted=NOLimit',
'RETExtra=xx' and "RETOnly=xx'. You 'active' copy will be
retained until deleted, or 'EXCLUDEed' and all 'inactive' versions
will be retained for xx days.
If you specify a limit value for 'VERExists', then it could be
possible that a file would be deleted before the xx period had
elapsed. The first limit exceeded would determine when the file
was removed, not only the number of days.
