I am running ADSM 2.1 on my RS/6000 running AIX 3.2.5.

We had an 8MM tape in the tape drive that contained some migrated data on
it.
Someone mistakenly did a "tar -cvf" to the tape. The tape is now all
fouled up. How do I tell adsm this? It still thinks this particular
volume is good and has data on it. I want to tell ADSM the tape went
south.

I tried to do a DELETE VOL but ADSM won't let me because it thinks there
is data still on the tape.

Any suggestions?
