Richard,

What you are describing is essentially what we are doing here
at this site. We archive files to diskpools, which are then
eventually put on tape media. We are using the OS/2 server, so
hopefully this info. will work with your server.

You need to migrate files from one archive pool, the disk
pool, to another archive pool, the off-line media pool. I
don't believe there is a way to tie archive file migration to
a date stamp. If you are archiving 10 MB of data per day into
a 100 MB disk pool and you want migration to tape every five
days then set the migration to start at 50% disk pool
capacity. The oldest files are migrated first.
