Your comments are causing me to stress out a little. Could you
describe what your problems with 8-mm are? Also what brand of 8-mm
drives and tapes are/were you using?

I am just starting to ramp up archival of 60-80 GB/year of Genetic-DNA
data and was hoping to get enough storage life to last at least until
CD-R technology is reliable enough to use. Data integrity is critical
to this project.
