Subject: NT Client on non-intel platforms

PPC and DEC Alpha support for the NT client are known requirements
that are currently being evaluated.

If is important that you have your IBM rep submit these as formal
requirements because this is what management uses to decide which
development line items get committed to in a particular release.

Also there are decisions being made concerning future development tools
for ADSM that are directly influenced by the ability to support non-Inte
Microsoft Operating Systems, so I can't stress enough how important it
is for customers to make clear that support of these operating systems
is important.

In the near future (next six months) non-Intel support would probably be
limited to the command line client only as the current development tools
we use for the GUI client (compiler, C++ application framework) do not
target non-Intel platforms.

Hope this answers yoor questions ...
