I am still having problems with an Exabyte 8205XL tape drive.
When backing up from clients a message appears saying that the
media is offline and gives the options: Wait, Skip, or Cancel.

Selecting Wait causes a SYS3175 trap error on the server
(adsmserve.exe).

The media is not offline, this is a manual tape drive with a labeled
tape in the drive. Valid responses are seen when the system is
queried for stgpool, deviceclass, volumes etc.,.

I really need help. ADSM/2 tech. support is not responding promptly
even though I have an open problem aa level 1 priority.

Are there any people on this list with experience using the OS/2
server version of this product? I'm not sure what the market
penetration of this product is. I do not think the system I am
trying to get running is anything strange, but I seem to be having
one problem right after another.
