In ADSM Version 1, APAR PN52808 (service level 0.8/1.8 ??) addresses this
with a new parameter 'MIGPROCESS=n' on the DEFINE/UPDATE STGPOOL commands.
This allows multiple migration processes to run at the same time.  If you're

We backup directly to disk storage pool then during the day we start
migrating
data from disk to tape.  Since our disk storage pool is 50G the migration to
tape is not good enough with one process of migration.
   My question: Can we run several migration processes at the same time?
