We are currently mirroring our MVS database - it is approximately 700
MB, plus an equal amount for the mirror.  We are doing this on an STK Iceberg,
I am considering dropping the mirror, due to the RAID 6+ capability of the
Iceberg.  If you have a RAID-1 type mechanism on the EMC, I would think that it
would also be a candidate to not mirror, but am not that familiar with the
EMC implementation.
