I use ADSM6000 1.2.7 Server with IBM 7331-205 8 mm Media library.

I'd like to know how i can define correctly, on ADSM server, the
Device class pour storage pool.

I tryed to define DEVC with FORMAT=8500c and estime capacity to 14 Gig
by volume. when i look the volume in the storage pool it appear that
volume is at 99% full, and capacity is 5 Gigabyte.

The tape drive is a 7 Gigabyte whitout compression, I user 160 m
media with Recognition System.


How i can use compression with 7 Gigabytes media and to be sure
to use optimal tape media with ADSM server.
