ADSM is designed to be able to move the DB from one type of media to another
while the system is running.  This is easily done by defining new DB
volumes on the new media, assigning these volumes to the DB, and then
removing the old volumes.  The remove process will take any data on the
volume being removed and put it on the other DB volumes.  At this time you
can take the old volume offline.

This is a key availability feature of ADSM and should be a trivial process.
