Suggestion for downloading manuals...

If you're actually trying to go through the effort to download
the PS files of the manuals from Compuserve, here's a suggestion
that may speed up the process if you have an OS/2 machine with
TCP/IP installed.
OS/2 Kermit supports connecting over the Internet as a telnet
client -- get the Kermit distribution from
http://www.columbia.edu/kermit and install it. Fire up Kermit,
and then specify 'telnet compuserve.com' at the OS2-Kermit
prompt. You can then log in and transfer files at pretty close to
14.4K speed w/o having to locate a dialup connection.
IBM, can you *please* put these PS files out for FTP? 4 hours of
download time is a major hassle.
