 /usr/lib/libipfx.a should be linked to either:

 /usr/lpp/adsm/bin/libipfx1.a  (for Motif 1.1)
 /usr/lpp/adsm/bin/libipfx2.a  (for Motif 1.2)

 If you don't have either of these two files, send me a note.

 The dsmadm client needs to be able to query the font it is currently
 using.  Change the *fontlist option in /usr/lpp/adsm/bin/Dsmadm
 to a font known on the Dec X server.
 You might try the following entry:
   *fontList: -*-*-*-r-normal-*-14-*-*-*-*-*-*-*
 or even,
   *fontList: -*-*-*-r-normal-*-14-*-*-*-*-*-*-*:r14:rom14
