Why is it that posters to this list leave the Subject line blank.

     Don't you realize how _annoying_ that is.  One struggles with the
     consequences. "Should I read this, or not?"  Then out of fear of
     missing something important, you read it only to find out that you've
     wasted your time and download charges on some jerk (AH) who was too
     lazy to put in a proper subject line. (e.g. Jacquie Reith)

Michael,

Last week we put out a Technical Support Bulletin describing and buffering
problem that occurred when using compression on all the clients.  We developed
a fix and put the new client PTFs on the ftp server and CompuServe.

I will send you a copy of the bulletin for a description of the problem. You wi
ll want ot put on the new clients if you force compression or make compression
a client choice.  Let us know if you have any questions.
