We are implementing ADSM on MVS. Clients are all OS2 on token ring, attached
via 3745 gateway. Commethod is APPC.
When BACKING up, average transfer rate (as shown on ADSM GUI panel) is about
120 KB. However when RESTORING the same data,transfer rate turns out tobe
only 1.2 KB, which in fact is unacceptable.
I suspect the problem lays somewhere in the network layer. Has VTAM ruzise
something to do with this? (Currently set to 512). Does anybody has encountered
this problem before?
