As we use TCP/IP locally for all communications, we use the TCP/IP domain
name for the ADSM node name. While this is not strictly necessary, it
avoids endless confusion about what is what.

SLIP does work. We use FTP software's SLIP to run TCP/IP over serial lines
from home, and everything works fine, albeit slow. Be prepared for a lot
of EXCLUDE and INCLUDE'ing to keep backup times reasonable.
