Vince,

The volume name 'EXPORT.n' being passed to the exit machines was supposed
to easily alert you to the fact that a scratch volume being used for an
EXPORT command was needed. Similarly, a volume name 'DUMPDB.n' is used
for a database dump scratch volume mount request. These names were chosen
to distinguish scratch volume requests for their different purposes. The
volume name 'SCRTCH' is used only for storage pool scratch volume requests.

In addition to the volume name, the storage pool name is also passed to the
exit. Note that the storage pool name is passed in as EXPORT for export tapes,
DUMPDB for dump db tapes, and the actual storagepool name for storage pool
tapes. However, there is nothing to prevent you from naming a storage pool
EXPORT or DUMPDB. So if you wanted all scratch mounts to use 'SCRTCH' for
the volume name, and you had a storage pool called EXPORT, for example, you
wouldn't be able to tell if the SCRTCH mount for storage pool EXPORT is for
an EXPORT command or from storage pool EXPORT.
