I recently installed ADSM Windows Client V1.2.0.1 on PCs, some of them on
Ethernet and some on Tokenring.  The communication method is TCPIP. With the
PCs which are on Tokenring I can sepcify the TCPBUFFSIZE = 16 and the result
is files are backed up with a data transfer rate of 117 kb/sec.  With the
PCs which are on Ethernet, if I set the buffer size to 16, I would get error
message:
        TCPIP Communication Failure ANS4847E Scheduled event 'DAILY' failed.
         Return code = -50.
If I set it to 10, data will be transferred at the rate of about 1.60
kb/sec, which takes more than 10 hours to back up files with a size of 62
Meg.  I would very much appreciate any input on how to solve this problem.
