Shlomit,
You should be able to accomplish what you want with the current product
as follows:
1. Define a policy domain with a management class that does not contain
any backup copy group.
2. Register the users who you wish to restrict from doing backups into
that domain.
3. Register the user(s) who will be doing all the backups into a different
policy domain that has a management class with an appropriate backup
copy group.
4. Have the user(node) that does backup the data grant access for restore to
the users(nodes) who are restricted from doing backups but need restore
capability.
5. The users who are restricted from doing the backups could restore data
by using the "Display drives for node..." options from the utilities
pulldown to get at the data backed up by the user authorized to do the
backups.
This of course assumes that the user doing the restore has write access
to the disk to which the data is to be restored.
