Well, I have another WINSOCK package that seems to work with the ADSM
Windows client. The PC guys here report that the Microsoft TCP/IP-32
for Windows for Workgroups 3.11 Beta, seems to work sorta okay. The
only problem to date is that ADSM or some other network packages seem
to cause the machine to lose its network connectivity when run at the
same time. They believe though that the problem is with some of the
shareware/public domain packages they run. They're going to play a
bit more though and get back with me if they can replicate the errors
reliably. They have no problems at all if ADSM or any other package
is running by itself. Then again this is Beta software, so it will
be interesting to see what happens in the actual release (but being
from Microsoft that of course may take years, phhtttt)

Has anyone tried out the Windows client on a WindowsNT machine?
They apparently come with a TCP/IP stack from Microsoft. We've got
two groups here going that way (we've got no direction at all here
folks, let me tell ya, it's everyone for themselves) and, of course,
are wondering if ADSM could be a solution for them. Thought I'd ask
before I send someone (or myself) forth to find out.
