Greg,

There is a single "catalog" for backup data in ADSM...it doesn't matter if
data is inserted via the incremental or selective commands.  So, if you
have a version limit of 1 specified in your management class, then a
selective backup of a file will replace the prior backup version of that file.
Further, the next incremental backup will not resend that file if it has not
changed since the selective backup was done.
