Unless you change the configuration on the router I don't see how this can be done. The interface name is retrieved by SNMP and netmon has no knowledge of what the DNS entry is and doesn't care. So o

Sebastian, I don't know what exactly you are trying to do, but I have a suspicion that you might be able to do it if you approach it from the interface level rather than from the node level. See the
