I tried to run the command nvdbimport but got an error "nvs_isClientAuthorized (): permission denied for nvdbimport". How do I get around this problem? Thanks for your help. Phat

Looks like nvsecd is not running. All NetView commands on UNIX check security, even if you have it turned off, and they will give you that message unless nvsecd is running to tell them that secuirty

I hit this last week. Security is on, but the nvdbimport and nvdbformat commands are not, by default, configured in the srf files. You have to add them. I think it is in the file /usr/OV/security/Dom
