Dirk, Do you change the access to offsite for your copypool tapes when you move them? If the access is readw, then it will assume that tape is onsite and available for use. It will usually try to use

Did You upd your vols as acc=Offsite or acc=unav? For acc=off adsm should use primary vols for reclamation and not request for offsite vols. Regards Roger

Have you tried to move the data to a different (e.g. disk) storage pool? you could then move the data from that alternate storage pool back to tape in your initial storage pool(s)... I did not try it
