Evidently your tape size is less than the 1.025 GB size of your data, and you have no previous level 0 so Amanda can't generate an incremental. You can either use bigger tapes, enable the tape spanni

You write `partly' failed? Doesn't it just mean that some DLEs were dumped (or estimated to dump) to tape, but Amanda noticed the remaining DLEs couldn't fit anymore? I see it from time to time, too.
