Yogesh, Always look in the log and debug files if you have a problem. What's in the amcheck.*.debug, amandad.*.debug and selfcheck.*.debug files? Jean-Louis We use Amanda 2.5.0p2 in our backup setup.

The selfcheck process is hang. Could you strace it and attach a debugger to it and get a backtrace. It's often because of a stale mount point. Did 'df' succeed? Jean-Louis Thanks for the reply. The a
