You can place sched log using next line in dsm.sys SCHEDLOGNAME /tmp/dsmsched.log SCHEDLOGRETENTION 7 D and error log setting up DSM_LOG=/dirrectory_where_log_placed environment variable. PS on AIX A

A closer look at dsmsched.log should reveal the problem. If you have the QUIET option set and you don't see anything useful, try running with VERBOSE. The most common reason I've seen for this error
