I am trying to setup Amanda to backup my wife's Windows laptop to my linux desktop machine. They are both on the same LAN (192.168.1.nn). Does anybody know if the version of Amanda suplied with opens

Thanks. The windows client has a file C:\cygwin\var\lib\amanda\amandahosts (no leading dot), which contains the following lines 192.168.1.12 amanda 192.168.1.12 root Does this look correct? -- Bob Re
