Thanks for the sugestion Mark, We're sure that the address is correct. The Tivoli Device Drives see the library at this address, and correctly identifies the model, as well as the Tape drives.

Thank you, I sent the problem to tivoli support, and supposidy, the serial numbers are not enabled on this model. (This from the reseller, not qualstar) I'll try calling qualstar tomorrow.
