NetView for UNIX has a built-in TEC adapter in the nvserverd daemon. You use a ruleset to forward to TEC. You set this up using SMIT or the Configure dialog of the Framework. It is well-documented in

Actually each of those methods is an executable you can call at the command line. nvserverd is linked with the EIF libraries from TEC so it uses the TEC routines directly, such as tec_create_handle,
