If you were given a TSM DB backup created from one platform, is it possible to restore to another platform? e.g. TSM 4.2.1 running on Solaris 2.8.. could you take the DB backup of that and restore to

Right off, I can see the big/little endian issue with the data stored in the database. So, I will have to go with Tivoli Support on this NO! But, some combinations may work. There are many flavors of
