Reading the announcement indicates that 5.2 is an "evolutionary" release, which is to say that it introduces modest, desirable enhancements rather than dramatic changes. This bodes well for stability

I heard from some our NT geeks yesterday that they have downloaded Windows 2003 server. I don't think we even have a test machine set up for it yet. Even lamer is BMR for a *non-existing* OS, Windows

Of course, everybody running Mandrake or Debian can tell you that even the 4.2 client and possibly even older clients do seem to work perfectly, it's just that IBM will not tell you it works because

Server is much different than client because you need to load kernel modules. These kernel modules are very picky and I could only get the modules to work properly with the RedHat 2.4.9-31 kernel tha
