In installing TSM 3.7.0 off the cd on an IBM S70 with PLENTY of space in /usr (as well as other filesystems) I notice I get a coredump when it gets to applying the software for the following file set
/usr/local/webapp/mharc-adsm.org/html/ADSM-L/2000-08/msg01059.html (11,676 bytes)

Gerald - You indicate that your /usr should not be filling, so that should not be the cause. Another possibility is that swap space is not active on your AIX system. Richard Sims, BU

Gerard, this could be APAR IX89878. If so, it is fixed by various AIX OS upgrades. Check the levels of these components - if you still have the problem then support should be able to help you. bos.mp
