Hi! I am running AIX 4.3.2 with Tivoli 3.7. When I run the Tivoli backup, the client machine is very slow, no one can do any work. People can't even login. Can any one shed some light? Thanks. David

You ca define seaprate network for backup, so that the back up wont chokeup the bandwidth. what cards you are using in TSM box?

I think you have to specify IP address in dsm.sys and dsm.opt file. and forward backup pacets to that network.
