Hi Salam, make sure you set the capacity of the drive(s) to 'drive', if your going to be using the green (5gb) and red (7gb) tapes. Modify the '3570' device class and set format to 'drive' not '3570B

We have 3575-L32 with 6 C-XL drives and use both Blue and Red tapes w/o problems. I would suggest after upgrading the drives that you do a reboot of AIX machine so it gets new info. Just a good gener
