This is a retryable failure, subject to the RETRY parameter in the init<SID>.utl file. 'Gracefull' is somewhat subject to interpretation - backint (TDP for R/3) will start over on the failed file. If

If you are using TDP and have the retries set it will just retry on a new tape. At least that has been my experience Becky
