Hi Muhammad, There are about 20 or 30 clients. I guess that 100GB is available at the server for use by the diskpool. I was thinking about trying to use TSM like smaller backup softwares like ArcServ

You can still create DRM tapes. Just do the "backup stg diskpool copypool" prior to the migrate of diskpool to tapepool so the data is still in the diskpool. This way you are always copying from disk
