Hi all, I'am near to despair. I'am trying to help netmon to discover a node and display it in the map since any hours. I've done all procedures listed in the Diagnosis Guide without any success. The

Jens, My guess would be a name resolution problem. See if you have forward and reverse name resolution. You may want to see if the device is in the local host table or do a loadhosts command. You mig

It could be in the database but not any map. Try these steps: First check the topology like so: ovtopodump <IP Address in seedfile> If it returns anything, it will show the Selection Name and Object

I don't think demand poll works if the object hasn't been discovered. Try a "ovmapcount -av ; ovtopofix -Av". Check for duplicate IP addresses for ALL the interfaces on the node you are trying to dis
