Optivity sets itself to listen to port 162. It receives the traps, correlates its own, and sends the rest to NetView. You need to make sure that port trapd is set at 162 in /etc/services, and that th

Do NOT redefine the port 162. Start NetView first, then Optivity. Once Optivity starts it seizes port 162 and redefines traps for NetView to port 412. This should be seamless to you. The key, to repe
