I want to migrate one user' home on node 1 to node 6 on our RS6000/SP. ADSM/HSM is on each node . How the migrated files of user on node 1 become ? Must they be all recalled before the movement on no

A quick test here shows the data is not recalled. Not surprising when you realise that mv operates on the directory the file is in, not on the file itself (on unix filesystems...). -- Met vriendelij
