Um....they both use tapes? That's about where it stops.... SysBack/6000 uses a shell wrapper to the backupvg command, just like mksysb does. It allows you to build bootable, installable, and recovera

Well, I can't say I'm an "expert" on either, but having done both, I will say this: sysback only backs up rootvg, AFAIK. Plus, it's better if files are not changing when it happens, so we always boot
