Hi My TSM version is 3.7.4 I tried to run a dsmserv loadformat but got an syntax error message instead I run dsmserv format successfully. My command was: DSMSERV FORMAT 2 /lgaa1dk2/lg /lgaa1dk2/lg1 4

Hi Robert, You can run loadformat by the same syntax as what you run in dsmserv format.... Dsmserv loadformat x log1 log2...logx y db1 db2 db3 ....dbY You mention like you got error from loadformat?

While we are on the subject of a loadformat/loaddb - Has anyone actually done this with a larger Tsm DB? Ours is 32Gig and the loaddb has been running for more than 20 hours. The unload took just ove

Normally I do it with dump/loaddb ( not unload/load) and it's faster than backupdb/restore db Only this time I can't do the dump db then I try unload which also felt it took longer time regards, Thid
