Try doing an update drive online=yes to see if that takes. Had some drives do that in a Wiindows environment when it hit a bad tape. TSM would take the drive offline. Bob Martoncik Lucas County Infor

Paths go offline due to scsi errors on the line. The drive doesn't actually report an error so the drive entity stays online. Paths can go offline for a variety of reasons above and beyond drive hard

The root cause is that the TSM Server encountered an I/O error and placed the path offline. You should, on a regular basis, scan the activity log for errors. When doing TSM Admin work I like to use a
